Nicole lives with her family in Middletown, Delaware. She obtained her Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner from Wilmington University and is wound care certified. She is our Lead Nurse Practitioner for Delaware. She has several years of long term care administrative experience. Nicole has worked in all roles in long-term care, beginning as a C.N.A. She is passionate about the elderly and strives to provide personal, outstanding care. She currently serves in a supervisory role as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Tissue Viability for Advanced Healing. Within the practice Nicole overseas education and training for new hires while enjoying the complexity of wound rounds within several facilities in Delaware.
Our company is owned by a full time Family Nurse Practitioner. Our founder, Teresa Matthews, is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Hawaii and Ohio. She is a Clinical Nurse Specialist Advanced Practice Nurse in Health Promotion and Wellness, and holds full prescriptive authority for both designations. She received her Post-Masters Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner from Indiana State University. She received her Masters of Science degree in Nursing from Wesley College in Dover, Delaware. She is highly regarded as a Wound Specialist throughout the mid-Atlantic states. She provides Continuing Education for nurses on various wound care topics that are certified for continuing education credits through the Delaware Nurses Association. She has taught Nursing School undergraduates, and displays her holistic philosophies of healing at every opportunity. As a pain management specialist, Teresa incorporates a comprehensive plan of health and believes in the power of caring.
